Pricing plans
manabiQ is outcome-based: there's no monthly fee required. You pay once when you publish a course to learners. Subscribing buys you a discount on every publish (plus more learners and storage).

Per-publish pricing (the variable cost)
Every published course costs a one-time charge based on how many lesson modules the course contains. Subscribers pay less per publish; Enterprise gets the first 30 publishes per month for free.
| Course size | Lessons | PAYG | Starter | Standard (-50%) | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 1–5 lessons | $2 / ¥300 | $1.50 / ¥225 | $1 / ¥150 | Free |
| Medium | 6–15 lessons | $4 / ¥600 | $3 / ¥450 | $2 / ¥300 | Free |
| Large | 16–30 lessons | $6 / ¥900 | $5 / ¥750 | $3 / ¥450 | Free |
Courses over 30 lesson modules require an Enterprise subscription.

Downgrading & cancelling
Same flow. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Cancel anytime — you drop back to Pay as you go (no monthly fee) and keep access to your existing courses.
Warning: if a downgrade would put you over the limit:
- Extra learners: some learners' access is paused
- Storage overage: no new uploads allowed (existing files preserved)
- Admin overage: extra admins lose access
Clean up first, then downgrade.
Monthly vs annual

- Enterprise: $40/mo → $408/yr (≈ $34/mo equivalent)
